I had an excellent experience working with Fonte W&D when I wanted to replace 2 exterior doors and a window at my Oakland Park home. First, they are a local, family-owned business where everyone was great to work with. I began with Natalie who took time to walk me through their product line and explained everything when asking her an exhaustive list of initial and follow up questions. I learned some key things from her that are unique to our area e.g. impact glass thickness sold here does vary (go thicker); living near the coast could require a special corrosive-resistant coating on doors which can have manufacturer warranty implications. Ariel Fonte, the co-owner, then came out and took measurements and later led his team through installation. Jackie, the office administrator, had kept me abreast of progress and to-do's through the timeline. I didn't get to meet Maribel, the other co-owner, who I think is the main boss as she handled all the payments. : ) Fonte's pricing was in line with their competitors, the doors/window appear to be good, solid quality, their estimated project timeline to include inspections was spot on, and any issues that came up were relatively minor and handled quickly and efficiently. If you're in the market for new doors & windows, give Fonte a call. I will with another project early next year.
